The Boston Harborfest is an annual event that lasts from the end of June through to the 4th of July. The event takes place on the harbor, hence the name, and includes historical reenactments, music performances, and parades. The event culminates in a grand fireworks display over the Boston Harbor on the evening of July 4th. This event has been happening since 1981. Some events are free while others do have fees.

The Boston Pops is a concert series that ends in a fireworks show on the evening of July 4th. The show is being headlined by Kelli O’ Hara, a Broadway actress, Darlene Love, a classic R&B singer, and the band The Mavericks. The concert is expected to be around two to two and a half hours long, with the fireworks show scheduled to start at 10:30 p.m.
